Adelaide Skoglund Joins Baptist Health Medical Group Board of Directors
MIAMI, FL – February 17, 2022 – Baptist Health South Florida today announced that Adelaide Skoglund has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Baptist Health Medical Group. As board member, Mrs. Skoglund will play an active role in furthering the organization’s mission of providing the highest quality care to patients.

Ms. Skoglund grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and graduated from Sweet Briar College in Amherst, Virginia, in 1970. She married John C. Skoglund in 1976, and the couple moved to Minneapolis.

When her husband passed away in 1999, Ms. Skoglund began spending more time in Florida. She is an active member of the Ocean Reef Club; founder of the Boutique D’Reef, a 30-year-old fundraiser that has raised nearly $2 million for The Medical Center at Ocean Reef; and founder and board member of Bonefish and Tarpon Trust, an environmental organization focusing on the preservation and enhancement of those species. Ms. Skoglund is also a board member of the Medical Center at Ocean Reef and served as chair from 2012 to 2014. She is currently chair of the Medical Center Foundation. She is also a member of the MCOR/BH Advisory Board Committee.
