“We welcome Dr. Toirac to our excellent team of Baptist Health cardiologists,” said Dr. Jonathan Fialkow, M.D., deputy director of the Institute, chief of cardiology and co-medical director of the lipid management program of Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. “Joining us as one of the top fellows from a prestigious cardiology program, he will help our patients and physician community with his emphasis on emerging data and evidenced-based medicine.”

“I understand that it’s a scary, stressful time when people see a physician about their heart health. I’m here to listen to their concerns and provide individualized treatment plans based on the latest evidence and data,” said Dr. Toirac. “It’s such an honor to help my patients. I believe strongly in what Mark Twain said, ‘Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.’ ”
