Baptist Health Medical Group Welcomes Family Medicine Physician James Jennings, M.D., to its Primary Care Team
MIAMI, FL – August 3, 2017 — Family medicine physician James Jennings, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians, as part of the Baptist Health Primary Care team. He will see patients at Baptist Health Primary Care in Pinecrest, located at 13101 South Dixie Highway, Suite 400. Patients visiting the newly opened facility will enjoy extended and weekend hours, minimal wait times and same-day or next-day appointments with an available physician or advanced practitioner.
Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Jennings has more than 20 years of experience treating patients in the Miami area. He cares for patients with a wide range of health issues, from heart disease and asthma to diabetes and pneumonia. He treats minor emergencies and coordinates treatment with necessary specialists. He also focuses on wellness and prevention, offering routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunizations, screening tests and healthy lifestyle counseling. The cornerstone of Dr. Jennings’ practice is an ongoing, personal patient-physician relationship focusing on integrated care.
