Baptist Health South Florida Named One of PEOPLE’S “50 Companies That Care”
MIAMI – September 2, 2020 – Great Place to Work and PEOPLE have honored Baptist Health South Florida as one of the 2020 PEOPLE’s “50 Companies that Care“. The fourth annual list will be featured in the September 14th issue of PEOPLE, which hits newsstands nationwide on September 4th. Baptist Health earned the 17th spot on the list.
Rankings represent feedback from over 4.5 million U.S. employees. PEOPLE partnered with Great Place to Work, a global people analytics and consulting firm, to analyze employees’ survey feedback on how their workplaces make a difference in their lives and communities, and to consider the generosity of each organization’s benefits, philanthropic and community support.
“Our mission of providing compassionate care to our employees, patients and families is at the core of everything we do. In the face of a global health crisis, our top priority has been to support our caregivers, who have embodied the definition of selflessly caring for others,” said Brian E. Keeley, President and CEO of Baptist Health South Florida. “We are very proud of our entire workforce, particularly our frontline heroes, for their unwavering dedication, and it is an honor to serve the needs of our community.”
The PEOPLE’s “50 Companies that Care” stand out for stepping up as leaders during an unprecedented time in modern history.
“Best workplaces like Baptist Health South Florida are showing up for their employees and communities during this unprecedented time and they’re able to do this because of the strong investments in their cultures leading up to this point,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “Having a foundation of trust has allowed these businesses to find innovative responses to COVID-19.”
