MIAMI, FL – August 9, 2023 – Daniel Ramon, M.D., joins Baptist Health as a family medicine-trained primary care physician, providing comprehensive primary care in adult medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, gynecology and sports medicine. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Ramon to Baptist Health,” said Bernie Fernandez, M.D., chief executive officer of Baptist Health Medical Group. “His excellent diagnostic and medical management skills — along with his dedication to treating diverse patient populations — will greatly benefit our area families.”
Dr. Ramon earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at the Baptist Health/Florida International University program, serving as the program’s chief resident for one year.
He believes that serving as a family medicine-trained primary care physician allows him to integrate his family-oriented values, passion for lifelong learning and desire to treat a diverse patient population.
“I grew up in a bilingual, multigenerational household with my brothers, parents and grandparents. Over time, I realized that modern medicine contributed to my grandparents’ health, longevity and quality of life,” said Dr. Ramon. “I want to provide the same positive impact on the health of other families in my community.”
Dr. Ramon will see patients at 12314 SW 127 Ave., Miami, FL 33186.
